Deonne is a licensed Marriage and Family clinician serving low-income participants for over 18 years in residential treatment and out-patient settings. Deonne has extensive experience and knowledge working with college students and low-income transitional age youth in both out-patient and in-patient therapeutic environments. Deonne has served on several boards of non-profit organizations that serve the housing and supportive services needs of the Los Angeles and San Bernardino County communities with an emphasis on equality, equity, justice reform and mental health.
Deonne currently works as a therapist serving Los Angeles and San Bernardino County foster youth and those aging out the of the foster care system. She actively provides linkages and support to youth in Transitional Housing Placements and after-care services to youth stepping down to less restrictive settings from Probation and DCFS placements.
Deonne generously donates to Urban Health through her volunteer work, provides in-kind donations and gives annual financial gifts.
